Back in 1974, three people were bored with choice of take away food. They wanted something filling and healthy that offered value for money. The result - the first Spud-u-Like store in the UK. Since then, the brand has spread to fill empty stomachs across the country. Whether you like them plain with a dash of cheese, or piled high with beans and chilli con carne, the baked potato is now a hearty lunchtime staple. And with less than 150 calories in most of the spuds, they’re easy on the waistline, too.
