Don't forget...

Now we all know that mums have endured a lot over the years with us kids, from tantrums to sleepless nights and forty or so years on that still hasn’t changed!
So how do we make that one day off she gets extra special? Spoil her of course!

Make sure you start the day with breakfast in bed, I’d recommend poached egg on toast and a good brew, you can’t beat it! Oh and don’t forget the Mothers Day card!
Now I know you are going to give her a fabulous day to remember, maybe a day out somewhere special or maybe to that fancy restaurant she loves so much but hasn’t been to for years. But it doesn’t have to be all expensive, it’s the thought that counts you know! So I had a wander around the wonderful malls here at Manchester Arndale and found some fab treats for under a tenner!

I love Purple Ronnie and Waterstone’s have a fab book called ‘I Heart Mum’ for £3.49, it’s full of poems, tips and cheeky truths about mum, she’ll love it!

Now as I love chocolate sooo much I had to nip into Hotel Chocolat just to get some ideas for my son! You can’t go wrong with chocolate. ‘All About Mum’, a quite aptly named box of chocs was a tincy winchy one pound more than my budget search but hey it’s only once a year!

My next stop was Lush for some bath time treats where I found a bath bomb called ‘Mrs Whippy’ £2.55 which looked like a strawberry meringue. All you need to do is pop it into your bath, and enjoy.

Now I love a good ‘Bag for life’ and Emma Bridgewater has designed a gorgeous shopper with little pink hearts all over it. It’s perfect! WHSmith
£9.24

We girls love accessories so I couldn’t resist a sneaky peek in Topshop £6.50, I found a cute set of 3 pairs of stud earrings, one leaf, one flower and one heart design. The perfect touch to complement any Mother’s Day outfit.

Well I have lots of fab ideas for my mum, why not come and see for yourself!
