Manchester Arndale Gift Cards provide much more flexibility and choice than standard gift vouchers as they may be spent at any retailer within the shopping centre that accepts Maestro.

Manchester Arndale Gift Cards are not in fixed denominations and they may be spent many times at many different retailers until the amount loaded onto the card has been exhausted.

The Gift Card provides better value as you will only be charged by the retailer for the exact amount of the transaction and will not be refused change.

Manchester Arndale Gift Cards may only be loaded with value once and may not be topped up with additional funds.

Manchester Arndale Gift Cards expire twelve months after their date of issue.

Q: What is a Gift Card?
A: Manchester Arndale Gift Card is a pre-paid debit card which may be used to pay for goods and services at retailers that accept MasterCard Maestro. You may deposit any value up to £1000 and it will be activated at the point of purchase

Q: Who can use a Manchester Arndale Gift Card?
A: Manchester Arndale Gift Card may be used by the purchaser or may be given to another person as a Gift.

Q: Does it cost anything?
A: There is a £2.00 issue fee charged for each Manchester Arndale Gift Card supplied. This amount is paid in addition to the value deposited on the Gift Card at the time of application. Manchester Arndale Gift Card is subject to a monthly account management fee of £2.50 per month but this fee will be waived for the first 6 months. Monthly account management fees are debited from the available balance on the Gift Card commencing 183 days after
the date of purchase and monthly thereafter until expiry of the Gift Card.

Q: How do I buy a Gift Card?
A: Before you apply for a Manchester Arndale Gift Card you will be required to provide the following information:

- For deposits made by credit card we will record your name and address.
- For cash deposits under £500 you will be required to provide one form of ID which can be a credit or debit card or other form of ID that you may normally carry on your person.We will record your name and address.
- For cash deposits over £500 you will be required to provide one form of ID if this form of ID is "first class" i.e. a driving licence with photograph, or passport. If the form of ID is not "first class", then 2 forms of ID will be required e.g. non-photographic driving licence +
credit or debit card. We will record your name and address.

Q: What happens to the balance?
A: The balance available on the Gift Card will be reduced by the value of each payment that you make using the Gift Card. If you attempt any payment that exceeds the remaining value on the card the transaction will be declined.

Q: How do I check the balance of my Gift card?
A: You may check the available balance on your Manchester Arndale Gift Card or view a statement of recent transactions by visiting www.flex-e-card.com, or alternatively by calling flex-e-card Customer Services. You will be required to provide the Customer Passcode which is printed on the receipt supplied with the Gift Card. Balance enquiries are provided free of charge. Errors or disputes regarding transactions on Manchester Arndale Gift Card should be notified as soon as possible to Customer Services.

Q: How secure is the Gift Card?
A: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Passcode. If your Manchester Arndale Gift Card has been purchased for you by a third party, please be aware that your Passcode may have been seen by that third party. If you believe that your Passcode has become compromised you should contact Customer Services as soon as possible and (subject to security checks) we will change your Passcode.

Q: Can I withdraw cash from an ATM or bank using my Gift Card?
A: Manchester Arndale Gift Card cannot be used to withdraw cash from ATMs or banks. Manchester Arndale Gift Card cannot be used to make payments on the Internet. Manchester Arndale Gift Card is not linked to a bank account and is not a cheque guarantee card,
charge card or credit card. Manchester Arndale Gift Card cannot be topped up. Manchester Arndale Gift Card may not be used for preauthorised regular payments, for any illegal purposes, or for gambling. Use of the Gift Card may be restricted if suspicious, fraudulent or illegal activities are identified.

Q: I still have some Manchester Arndale Gift Vouchers. Are they still valid?
A: All stores who previously accepted Manchester Arndale Gift Vouchers will continue to do so until 6 months after their issue date, which can be found in the top right hand corner of the Gift Voucher.

Q: What do I do if my Manchester Arndale Gift Vouchers have expired?
A: Unfortunately it is stated in the terms and conditions on the reverse of the gift vouchers that the exchange of vouchers is at the management's discretion. However sinceManchester Arndale no longer issues gift vouchers, it is not possible to replace expired vouchers.
