FREDDIE MERCURY ARRIVES AT MANCHESTER ARNDALE
Giant Freddie, a 15 foot statue of Freddie Mercury has come to stay at Manchester Arndale in the run up to the opening of Queen and Ben Elton's spectacular musical 'We Will Rock You'.
The statue was unveiled by cast member Ian Reddington who is playing 'Pop' in this years production. The statue comes to Manchester with years of heritage after previously standing in front of London's Dominion Theatre to welcome the audience to the show.
Ian Reddington joins the WWRY cast this year with a great background in theatre, alongside his TV experience playing the well loved characters of Eastenders 'Tricky Dicky' and Coronation Streets Vernon Tomlin.
